Can donors change their donation amount after subscribing?

Yes, donors can adjust their donation amount anytime through their settings page.

  1. Click on the Main menu (three vertical lines)
  2. Select Your giving

  3. Click on Scheduled Giving 

  4. Under Mosques & Organizations click on the View details button
  5. Click on the Edit button
  6. Edit your giving amount and click on Save at the bottom

Can a donor subscribe to give monthly more than once to the campaign?

No, a donor can only have one active subscription per campaign. However, they can easily modify the amount they wish to contribute by increasing or decreasing their subscription. A donor can subscribe to other recurring plans as well.


Can donors sign up to give in any currency?

Donors can give in any of the 8 currencies we offer on LaunchGood: USD, CAD, GBP, EUR, SGD, AUD, NZD, MYR


Is a LaunchGood account required to sign up for recurring donations?

Yes, donors need to log in to their existing LaunchGood account or create one to sign up for recurring donations. They can also sign up using their Google or Facebook accounts.


What payment methods are accepted?

Currently, credit cards and debit cards are accepted for subscriptions. Apple Pay and Google Pay will be available soon.


When will monthly donations be charged?

Donors are charged on the 1st of every month. For instance, if a donor signs up on September 5th, 2024, their first charge will be on October 1st, 2024, followed by subsequent charges on the 1st of each following month.


Can donors cancel their subscriptions?

Yes, subscriptions can be cancelled anytime through the settings.

  5. Click on Edit
  6. Scroll down and click on Stop your giving 

Will donors receive a confirmation when they sign up?

Yes, donors will receive a confirmation email with their subscription details.


What should donors do if a payment fails?

If the donor’s card has expired, they can add a new credit card through the settings.


  1. Click on the Main menu (three vertical lines)
  2. Select Your giving
  3. Click on Scheduled Giving 
  4. Under Mosques & Organizations click on the View details button
  5. Click on Edit
  6. Under Payment method select Add a Credit / Debit card. Fill out then click on Save Card

If the payment fails despite having a valid card, the donor should contact their bank. If the issue persists after the bank has cleared the block, reach out to support@launchgood.com.


Will donors be notified if their card expires?

No, currently, donors will not receive an email notification if their card expires.


What does a donor need to sign up for recurring donations?

A donor will need to choose their monthly giving amount, their payment method, and a tip amount.


What donor data is shared with the fundraiser?

The donor’s name, email, and billing address is shared for the purposes of tax receipts.
