If you already have a fundraiser on LaunchGood, whether it's a draft, in review, or currently live, you can follow the steps below to mark it as Zakat eligible.
If you haven’t created one yet, this article will guide you through how to get started. It also covers how to apply for Zakat verification during the setup process.
Steps to mark your fundraiser as Zakat eligible
- Log in to your LaunchGood account and go to your fundraiser page.
- Not sure where to find it? Follow these steps to locate your fundraiser.
- On your fundraiser page, click on the Edit tab, then head to the Enhance section.
- Scroll down to the Zakat eligibility section and check the box that says “Yes, this fundraiser is Zakat eligible.”
- Select who will benefit from your fundraiser and explain how the funds will be used.
- Click Save & next at the bottom of the page.
Our team will review your Zakat eligibility based on our Zakat policy. If your fundraiser qualifies, a Zakat Verified tag will appear on your page.
You’ll also receive an email confirming whether your application has been approved.
If your Zakat application is not approved
You can appeal or resubmit your application if needed. Just email us at support@launchgood.com with:
- The link to your fundraiser
- A short explanation of your appeal
- Any documents or information that can help us reassess your request
