How Do I Get A Refund For My Donation?

First and foremost, we want to thank you for helping communities around the world with your acts of charity, both big and small. We are grateful to Launch Good with you! 


Whatever the reason for a refund, LaunchGood is here to help. Provided the campaign funds have not been disbursed to the Campaign Creator and/or the Giving Reward has not been shipped*, LaunchGood will be able to refund your donation. 

 

To request a refund, contact us directly at support@launchgood.com.


When a refund is requested, you will be notified by email once it is complete, and the refunded amount should appear in your bank account within 5-10 business days. All refunds are processed through the original credit card you donated with. You can check the status of your donations by going to your User Profile and under My Giving click Donations


Kindly take note that when a refund is processed for a donation made in a different currency, several factors can result in the refunded amount being less than the original donation.

  1. Exchange Rate Variations: The exchange rate used to convert the donation to your local currency at the time of donation may differ from the rate applied when processing the refund, which can impact the refunded amount
  2. Foreign Transaction Fees: Fees charged by your credit card issuer for currency conversion may apply to both the original donation and the refund, potentially reducing the refunded amount
  3. Exchange Rate Margins: Financial institutions may use less favorable rates for converting the refund back into your local currency compared to those used for the original donation
  4. Processing Delays: Any delays between the donation and the refund can lead to fluctuations in exchange rates, affecting the final refunded amount


Please be assured that LaunchGood does not impose any fees for processing donations or refunds, nor do we benefit from any associated currency conversion fees.




* Funds have been disbursed to the Campaign Creator (CC) or the Giving Reward has been shipped: In the event that the campaign has ended and LaunchGood has disbursed funds to the campaign owner, or the CC has indicated the perk(s) are ready for shipment or already shipped, refund requests must be directed to the CC and handled in accordance with their organization's refund/return policy.
